Mississippi State University is a comprehensive, doctoral degree-granting institution with a nationally and internationally diverse student body. Mississippi State University is organized into 7 colleges with degrees in over 80 fields. Historically founded upon agriculture and engineering the most common majors are now located within the college of Arts and Sciences. However, the Bagley College of Engineering is very strong.
Though Mississippi State has several campuses the main campus is located in Starkville, Mississippi with major airports located in Birmingham, Alabama (2-hour drive), Memphis, Tennessee (2.5 hour drive), and Atlanta, Georgia (4.5 hour drive).
Mississippi State has rolling admissions and the application for fall 2021 will open on August 1st. For full admission students should submit SAT, TOEFL or IELTS, and high school transcript including 9th, 10th, and 11th grade levels.
Scholarships are awarded based upon SAT and GPA. Average SAT is 1210 and average GPA is 3.6. Students with average scores will likely be awarded scholarships.

Northeastern Illinois University
